Roberto Marras Research
Roberto Marras Experiment
I decided to make my own piece based upon Marras's style
I started out by getting a basic paper texture.
From here I started creating my own abstract design onto it by using various custom shapes and brushes.
I used a good range of colours but mainly used Red, Black and purple as I felt the three worked well together.
I feel that this piece came out really well. I feel that I really did well at using the idea of abstract. I used a fleur de lis as the start of my piece as I felt that it might be good to add a sense of contrast between abstract and ordered. I used a brush to make the abstract styled pattern in the corner which nicely links to the fleur. Overall this is one of my better pieces and once again I enjoyed being able to combine both structure and abstract styling.
