Reinventing a Fairy Tale - Project

This was my Digital Art Mock Exam in which we where given the task of creating a project based off a Fairy Tale. Below are all the pages I made from the project.

What did I make?

What I made was a short animation based on the Fairy Tale 'Little Red Riding Hood'. I turned the old story into a gang warfare story, called Red Riding Hood, where we had two gangs called 'The Big Bad Wolves' and 'The Red Riding Hood's'. There was originally four characters in the animation: Red, Wolf, Mut and Hound. Hound, however was cut out because he wasn't needed. The story line of Red Riding hood is that the RRH's newest member has been given a mission to assassinate a team of wolves. It starts out with Wolf standing in the woods waiting for his team. Mut then falls out a tree and explains to Wolf that the teams been killed one by one. Mutt then gets killed which is followed by the death of Wolf. It ends with Red(newest member) walking off in a dramatic way. 

What was good?

I thought that my characters and there designs where good. I started the character creation process by drawing basic body's and then adding features relating to the role they fill. I felt that this made them more unique and that it was an interesting modern take on the characters. Another thing that I thought was good was the images used. The forest background for example was a photo I took on holiday once(with editing on photoshop). I also like the targeting screen that I did where its shows the red cover with various shapes and texts aiming from Mutt to Wolf.  

What needs improving?

What I believe needs improving is neatening up the animation so it's a better quality as its still a bit messy. I will also add voices to the characters as at the moment all I have in the way of audio is the sound effects in there.
